Job summary

Kona Medical Consulting and The Home Health Team are seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our Texas team. You will support patients with personal care and daily living activities, ensuring safety and comfort at every visit.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience in home health or caregiving, with reliable transportation, a valid license, and current immunizations/ CPR. PRN, part-time or full-time schedules available within Texas.

Qualifications

• Active Home Health Aide, CNA, or equivalent certification (depending on state requirements).
• At least 1 year of experience in home health, caregiving, or a related field preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Must pass background screening and provide updated immunizations/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
• Support with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervising nurse.
• Maintain accurate visit documentation and follow care plan instructions.
• Deliver compassionate, professional care while respecting patient dignity and privacy.
