Job summary

Kona Medical Consulting and The Home Health Team are seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care across Texas. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily tasks while ensuring safety and patient dignity during every visit.

Ideal candidates hold an HHA/CNA certification, have 1+ year of home health experience, and can pass background checks and immunizations. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Home Health Aide, CNA, or equivalent certification (depending on state requirements).
• At least 1 year of experience in home health, caregiving, or a related field preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Must pass background screening and provide updated immunizations/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
• Support with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervising nurse.
• Maintain accurate visit documentation and follow care plan instructions.
• Deliver compassionate, professional care while respecting patient dignity and privacy.
