Job summary

Right At Home In Home Care in Wallingford, CT is seeking Homemakers, HHAs, Companions, CNAs, and PCAs to care for clients in their homes. Ideal candidates have 6+ months of caregiving experience, are 18+, and can read, write, and speak English.

Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Benefits include weekly pay, PTO, sick pay, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more of documented caregiving experience.
• Must be 18+ years old; able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have reliable transportation.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Pass a full employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (eating, personal hygiene, dressing, grooming).
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and cognitive engagement (reading, music, puzzles).
• Assist with prescribed exercises and medication reminders as directed.
