Job summary

Right At Home in Wallingford CT is seeking Homemakers/Home Health Aides for the Middle CT area. The ideal candidate should have 6 months of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience.

We offer full-time and part-time positions with pay ranging from $17.50 to $22.00 per hour, weekly pay with direct deposit, paid training, PTO, sick pay, mileage reimbursement, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months documented caregiver/home health aide experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must be able to pass a full employment background check.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry and other household chores.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed range of motion exercises or dementia care as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities to improve quality of life.
