Job summary

A Moment's Notice Health Care in Florida is seeking compassionate caregivers to deliver in-home support to seniors in Indian River and surrounding counties. This role emphasizes independence, safety, and quality of life for clients who remain at home.

Duties include assisting with daily living activities, documenting care, providing medication reminders, and monitoring health conditions per the care plan. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, valid FL driver's license, CPR/BLS, HHA

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid FL driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• HHA certification (minimum 75 hours) required.
• CEUs in Alzheimer's/Dementia, medication administration, HIPAA, and HIV/AIDS preferred.
• Ability to lift and assist with mobility; comfortable with pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care per the care plan agreed with Nursing Supervisor and family.
• Document all care activities accurately during shifts.
• Assist with activities of daily living, medication reminders, vital signs, and light housekeeping.
• Monitor clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia as applicable.
• Support mobility, transfers, positioning, and safe movement.
