Job summary

A Moment’s Notice Health Care in Florida is hiring compassionate caregivers to support clients at home under a nursing supervision plan. You will assist with daily activities, monitor health, remind about medications, and document care per policy.

This role emphasizes reliability, empathy, and teamwork to maintain client independence. Qualifying candidates hold a HS diploma or GED, a Florida driver’s license, CPR/BLS, and an active HHA certification, with CEU credits in dementia, meds

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Florida Driver's License required.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• HHA Certification (minimum 75 hours) required.
• Alzheimer's & Dementia CEU (2 hours) required.
• Medication administration CEU (2 hours) required.
• HIPAA CEU (1 hour) required.
• HIV/AIDS CEU (4 hours) required.
• Able to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing, walking).
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Able to work with pets when necessary.
• Knowledge of English language required.

Responsibilities

• Provide home care per Care Plan approved by Nursing Supervisor and Client/family.
• Thoroughly document all care provided during shift.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, medications reminders, vital signs, light housekeeping).
• Monitor Alzheimer's & Dementia clients as applicable.
• Assist with mobility exercises (transfers, positioning, lifting).
• Follow policies and procedures including HIPAA, dress code, and weekend/holiday availability policies.
• Arrange shifts and find replacements when needed.

$16-18/hr. based on experience and availability

A Moment’s Notice Health Care specializes in providing compassionate and professional Home Care Services in Indian River and surrounding counties. We ensure seniors receive the support they need while maintaining their independence at home. We are currently hiring compassionate, dependable, team-oriented individuals to provide care for our clients, playing a vital role in enhancing their quality of life and well-being while they remain in their home.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• Valid FL Driver's License

• CPR/BLS Certification

• Valid HHA Certification (minimum of 75 hours)

• Alzheimer's & Dementia CEU (2 hours)

• Assistance with Self Administration of Medication CEU (minimum 2 hours)

• HIPAA CEU (1 hour)

• HIV/AIDS CEU (4 hours)

• Complete all physical and mental demands for described position. Moderate lifting, standing, walking, moving throughout shift.

• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance

• Work with pets when necessary

• Knowledge of the English language

• Complies with policies and procedures including standards of conduct and work ethics, HIPAA policy, dress code and weekend / holiday availability policies.

• Responsible for working all assigned shifts-finding replacement for shift when needed.
