Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one home health and home care services in the Muskegon area. You will assist with daily living, maintain safety, and support clients in their homes and communities.

Training and onboarding are provided, and certification pursuit is welcomed. Ideal candidates enjoy meaningful, patient-centered work and can travel to client homes with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain HHA/CNA certification and complete competency assessments.
• Ability to follow written care instructions and document services accurately.
• Must be compassionate, patient, and professional with vulnerable populations.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work independently in home settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting.
• Assist mobility, transfers, ambulation, and ROM as per plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Support medication reminders (no independent administration).
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the supervising nurse.
