Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking Home Health Aides in Logan, Ohio to assist clients at home with personal care and daily activities. Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance, supporting clients to live safely at home.

Applicants should have 1+ year of relevant experience, pass a background check, and be comfortable with lifting up to 25 lbs. Flexibility in schedule and a caring attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Worked with a Home Health Agency or nursing Facility within the past year.
• Minimum of 1 full year of recent experience.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must complete a written Competency evaluation.
• Must complete a skills assessment.
• Able to independently lift 25lbs.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
• Demonstrate patience, and good personal hygiene.
• Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care to include baths, showers, bed baths, sponge baths.
• Assisting with oral hygiene and shampoos.
• Changing bed linens and assisting with dressing/undressing and grooming.
• Assisting with toileting activities and keeping living area clean and orderly.
• Doing patient’s laundry, cleaning and meal preparations.
