Job summary

PurposeCare is hiring Home Health Aides, STNA's, PCAs and CNA caregivers to care for clients in Circleville, Ohio and surrounding counties. We offer a rewarding opportunity in a growing home health company focused on compassionate, in-home care.

Responsibilities include baths, oral hygiene, grooming, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. Applicants should have 1+ year of recent home health experience, pass background checks, and be able to lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience with a Home Health Agency or nursing facility within the past year.
• Minimum of 1 full year of recent experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and be at least 18 years old.
• Must complete a written competency evaluation and skills assessment.
• Able to independently lift 25 lbs and provide personal care and light housekeeping.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
• Demonstrate patience and good personal hygiene.
• Comfortable performing personal care, grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Baths, Showers, Bed Baths, Sponge Baths
• Oral hygiene
• Shampoos
• Changing bed linens
• Assisting patients with dressing/undressing and grooming
• Assisting the patient with toileting activities
• Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly
• Doing patient’s laundry, cleaning and meal preparations
