Job summary

PurposeCare in Ohio is hiring Home Health Aides, STNAs, PCAs and CNAs to care for clients in Circleville and surrounding counties. Join a growing team dedicated to delivering compassionate, in-home care and improving quality of life for patients in their communities.

You will provide personal care, help with daily activities, light housekeeping, meals, and transport support as needed. Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, be able to pass a background check, and be 18 or

Qualifications

• Worked with a Home Health Agency or nursing Facility within the past year
• Minimum of 1 full year of recent experience
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Candidates must complete a written Competency evaluation
• Must complete a skills assessment
• Able to independently lift 25lbs
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired
• Demonstrate patience, and good personal hygiene
• Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care to include baths, showers, bed baths, sponge baths
• Oral hygiene
• Shampoos
• Changing bed linens
• Assisting patients with dressing/undressing and grooming
• Assisting the patient with toileting activities
• Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly
• Doing patient’s laundry, cleaning and meal preparations
