Job summary

Valley Home Care is seeking a compassionate Female Home Health Aide to support individuals in their homes, promoting independence and safety. Prior patient-care experience is valued, but attitude and responsibility are prioritized.

You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, monitor changes, and help with mobility and light housekeeping, all while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care is helpful but not required.
• Strong caregiving abilities including personal care, cooking, and housekeeping.
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with a care team.
• No certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to create a positive and respectful environment.
• Monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition or behavior.
• Assist with mobility, including use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and general cleaning.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines when handling client information.
