Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a dependable, compassionate Home Health Aide to provide companion and personal cares to clients in Cedar Falls and surrounding areas. There is no level of experience or training required as we provide a training and mentoring program to help you be successful.

We are looking for an HHA with availability to work some hours during weekdays and weekends in Waterloo and Cedar Falls. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, including health insurance after 60 days with a

Qualifications

Valid Driver’s License required.
Must have own vehicle with adequate car insurance and the ability to travel within a 45-minute radius.
Previous work experience as a professional caregiver.
Pass background check.
Ability to read, write, speak English.
Training will be provided for any specialized tasks.
Experience with Hoyer lifts is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and meals.
Transport clients to appointments or the store.
Assist with personal cares like transfers, toileting, showers, hygiene.
Medication reminders, life management.
Provide companionship with engaging activities and ensure client safety.
Report changes in condition or concerns to the supervisor.
Delegated nursing tasks with training by RN, following agency policies and procedures.
