Job summary

Right At Home South Columbus Metro in Newark, OH is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. You will help clients maintain independence by assisting with daily living activities while delivering respectful, personalized care.

Join our supportive team and start with pay at $15.00 per hour, with flexible full- or part-time schedules, paid training, overtime, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers when necessary.
• Previous caregiving, home health, or related experience preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical in-home care and companionship.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor changes in a client's condition and report them.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services.
• Follow company policies, HIPAA regulations, and client care plans.
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
