Job summary

Right At Home in Chillicothe/Londonderry, OH is seeking a compassionate in-home Caregiver for dayshift. You will provide non-medical care, companionship, and support to seniors and adults with disabilities in client homes throughout the Columbus area.

The role offers starting pay at $15 per hour, flexible full/part-time schedules, paid training, overtime, and benefits. CPR/First Aid a plus; lifting up to 25 pounds; background check required; reliable transportation preferred.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and client care plans.
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
