Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with transferring/moving the client during activities of daily living.
• Performing housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, and bathroom cleaning.
• Preparing meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompanying the client to errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing, dressing, shaving.
• Medication reminders.
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care.
• Engaging in companionship activities (reading, music, puzzles).
