Job summary

Right at Home Indianapolis West is hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to provide compassionate in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities in the Indianapolis area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a State approved Nurse Aide or HHA/PCA course is needed.
• Competency Evaluation meeting state licensing law is required.
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle required or accessible transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (toileting, bathing, grooming).
• Assist with ambulation, eating, dressing, and light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals and manage simple dietary needs.
• Measure and provide basic vital signs.
• Assist with prescribed ROM exercises and medication-related tasks as taught by a nurse.
