Altra Home Health is seeking caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide essential personal care for patients in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication reminders, safety support, and documentation.

Requirements include 18+ years, a valid driver's license and insurance, CPR certification, and preferred 1 year of relevant experience. CNAs may be hired as HHAs and will perform the same duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance required.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• CNAs may be hired as Home Health Aides and will perform the same essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when needed.
• Provide friendly medication reminders.
• Help ensure patient safety at all times.
• Promptly report significant changes in a patient's condition to their supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when required.
• Monitor and record patient temperature.
• Support patients with ambulation.
• Guide patients through range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Keep thorough documentation and follow all care protocols.
• Uphold privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer hands-on bathing assistance.
• Handle light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide meaningful companionship, including letter-writing and reading.
