Job summary
Altra Home Health is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs to deliver essential in-home personal care, support daily living activities, and enhance patient well-being. You will work in patients' homes, promoting safety, comfort, and independence through dedicated caregiving and strong communication with the care team.
Applicants should have CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and ideally 1 year of experience in home health or related settings.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older and able to read and follow written instructions.
- Current CPR certification and willingness to meet state/federal training.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient laundry and light housekeeping as needed.
- Provide medication reminders and support safety at all times.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when required.
- Monitor temperature and assist with ambulation and ROM exercises.
- Document care accurately and report changes to supervisor promptly.
- Maintain privacy, infection control, and care protocols.
- Provide hands-on bathing assistance and meaningful companionship.
