Altra Home Health is seeking caring and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to support patients in their homes. You will deliver essential personal care to meet daily needs and promote comfort and independence.

The role includes providing companionship, assisting with activities of daily living, staying alert to changes in condition, and documenting care per protocols. A valid driver's license and CPR are required, with competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Able to read, follow written instructions, and document care.
• CNAs may be hired as HHAs and perform same functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when needed.
• Provide friendly medication reminders.
• Help ensure patient safety at all times.
• Report significant changes to supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Monitor and record patient temperature.
• Support patients with ambulation.
• Guide patients through range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Keep thorough documentation and follow care protocols.
• Uphold privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer hands-on bathing assistance.
• Handle light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide meaningful companionship, including letter-writing and reading.
