Job summary

Assurance Care & Support Services Inc in New Jersey seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, based on individualized care plans. You will help with mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises.

Responsibilities include medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and documenting care activities while maintaining client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or PCA training program or willingness to obtain.
• Previous experience in home healthcare preferred.
• Compassion, empathy and genuine interest in improving lives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to client needs.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting per care plan.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and prescribed exercises.
• Administer medication reminders and ensure adherence to plans.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry and safe environment maintenance.
• Monitor and report changes to supervisor or nurse.
