Job summary

S & S Home Health Care Agency in New Jersey seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care and support daily living activities for clients in Phillipsburg and surrounding areas.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, light housework, meal prep, and monitoring health, while following care plans, maintaining records, and delivering companionship with empathy and reliability. Certification as HHA and CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified HHA or equivalent training (as required by state regulations).
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
