Job summary

S & S Home Health Care Agency in New Jersey seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our in-home care team. You will support clients with daily living activities and help maintain independence in their own homes.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, monitoring health changes, companionship, and following care plans. Certification as an HHA or equivalent is required; CPR/First Aid is preferred, and reliable transportation is

Qualifications

Certified HHA or equivalent training as required by state regulations.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
