Job summary

S & S Home Health Care Agency seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team and provide in-home care to clients needing assistance with daily living activities. As an HHA you will assist with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and keep client records according to care plans, while offering companionship and emotional support.

We value reliability, good communication, and a genuine desire to help others; CPR/First Aid is preferred and state HHA

Qualifications

• Certified HHA or equivalent training as required by state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
