Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is hiring a caregiver for part-time evening shifts in Bemidji, MN. You’ll support individuals with developmental disabilities, assist with personal hygiene, and help participants pursue meaningful activities in the community.

This role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and the ability to work with behavioral challenges. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required; wage is $21 per hour with a supportive, mission-driven team

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing needs.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities as part of care.
• Support individuals with developmental challenges and complex needs to live well in the community.
• Promote independence and help participants participate in preferred activities.
