Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved training program for Home Health Aides
• A valid certification as a Home Health Aide
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide
• Background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse

Responsibilities

• Remind individuals to take their medications and assist with administration
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
• Perform light housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe living environment
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals meeting dietary requirements
• Offer emotional support and companionship to clients and families
