Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Personal Care Aide to provide, restore, maintain, and promote the health status of clients through home support, medical monitoring, and assistance with daily living activities. Team members are expected to lead by example, stay positive, be supportive, and keep members safe.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, light housekeeping, observing changes in condition, and communicating professionally with families and referral agencies.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and engaging interpersonal skills.
• Able to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Able to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to bend, lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Perform light cleaning, laundry, shopping and home safety tasks.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks; assist with feeding as needed.
• Observe for changes in condition and escalate concerns.
• Run errands and accompany to appointments as needed.
• Maintain sanitary, clutter-free environment and report safety concerns.
• Communicate professionally with members, families, and agencies.
• Follow company policies, safety and regulatory requirements.
