Job summary

Home Instead is seeking a compassionate caregiver in California. Earn $18.50–$19.25 per hour with weekly pay and benefits, including sick leave, holidays, and medical/dental/vision options. The role emphasizes companionship, personal care, and building strong client relationships through consistent shifts.

You will receive training, 401k considerations, mileage reimbursement, and access to a supportive team and mobile app for scheduling and updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR certification as CNA/HHA/LVN/LPN/RN.
• Willing to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client.
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (bilingual/multilingual encouraged).

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with clients through companionship and compassionate caregiving.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide personal care services including grooming, bathing, restroom use, and incontinence management.
