Job summary

Village Caregiving - Cape Cod, MA is seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to join our team. In this non-medical role, you will help local seniors and individuals with disabilities with day-to-day tasks so they can live safely at home.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, companionship, errands, and basic observation. A high school diploma or GED is required; caregiving experience is a plus, and paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in non-medical caregiving and daily living assistance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required/preferred.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.
• Willingness to learn and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Mobility: help clients sit, stand, walk, and transfer.
• Household Help: light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, and tidy living areas.
• Companionship: engage in conversations, activities, and social interaction.
• Errands: grocery shopping, prescriptions, and transportation to appointments.
• Observation: report changes in health or behavior to supervisors.
