Job summary

Village Caregiving in Eastham, MA is seeking reliable caregivers to help local seniors stay independent at home. You will assist with daily tasks, provide companionship, and support mobility and safety in a non-medical setting.

No medical duties are involved; paid training is provided. A high school diploma or GED is required; a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are preferred. Background checks and drug screening will be completed as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Caregiving experience is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Help with bathing, dressing, grooming and basic hygiene.
• Mobility: Assist clients to sit, stand, walk and transfer safely.
• Household Help: Prepare meals, light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying living areas.
• Companionship: Engage in conversation and social activities.
• Errands: Assist with grocery shopping, prescriptions, and appointments.
• Observation: Record care provided and report changes to supervisors.
