Job summary

VillageCaregiving is seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to support local seniors and individuals with disabilities in their own homes. This is a non-medical role focused on personal assistance, light housekeeping, and companionship, with paid training available for the right person.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, housekeeping, and errand support. A valid driver’s license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Patient, practical, and caring attitude.
• Caregiving, HHA, or CNA experience is a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and basic hygiene.
• Help clients sit, stand, walk, and transfer safely around the home.
• Cook healthy meals, perform light housekeeping, and keep living areas tidy.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities and hobbies.
• Run errands, grocery shopping, prescriptions, and driving to appointments.
• Keep basic records and inform supervisors of health or behavior changes.
