Job summary

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking caring individuals to provide essential non-medical home care. As a caregiver, you will offer companionship, personal care support, assistance with daily living activities, and light housekeeping to help seniors maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving/home care experience is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if required for client transport).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.
