Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care. You will transport clients to appointments, help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping, and offer companionship.

A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle are required, along with the ability to pass a background check. Flexible scheduling includes weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in shifts, and benefits like

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
