Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring in Connecticut to provide non-medical home care across multiple service areas. You will assist with daily living activities, companionship, transportation to appointments, light housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Criminal background check required.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
