Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring in Connecticut to provide non-medical home care services across multiple areas. You will follow each client's Plan of Care, assist with daily activities, and offer companionship, with flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client’s Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
