Job summary

ComForCare Midlands in the Columbia area is seeking compassionate caregivers to cover 10-12 hour shifts, with every other weekend, across Elgin, Northeast Columbia, Lexington and West Columbia. Shifts run between 7am and 10pm, Sunday through Saturday, to support clients living at home.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience of 1 year.
• Must be 21 years of age or over.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation; a valid driver's license and proof of insurance is required.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
