Job summary

ComForCare Midlands seeks compassionate caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes across the Midlands area. This role involves 10–12 hour shifts with every other weekend, and requires availability between 7am and 10pm daily. We offer paid weekly, flexible schedules, and ongoing training.

We value reliability, strong communication, and a proactive attitude. Candidates should have caregiving experience, be 21+, pass a background check, and possess a valid

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience or more.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation.
• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Provide reminders for medications and transportation as needed.

Must be available betweem 7am - 10pm Sunday - Saturday.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Care giving experience of 1 year
• Must be 21 years of age or over
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must have reliable transportation; a valid driver's license and proof of insurance is required
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
