Job summary

Haven Home Care is actively hiring caregivers to support elderly clients across Summit County. You will provide in-home assistance with daily activities, meals, mobility, and companionship, across 14 covered cities including Akron, Stow, and Hudson.

Flexible schedules let you choose availability; travel between clients is paid, with W-2 status and biweekly pay. Roles emphasize empathy, reliability, and commitment to safe, compassionate home care.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Personal car with insurance that covers work driving.
• Pass background checks.
• Work at least 20 hours per week.
• Available between 6 AM–8 PM (most work is 8 AM–5 PM).
• Legal right to work in the US.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with daily living activities: baths, dressing, meals, light cleaning.
• Assist with mobility and transfers; you will be on your feet during shifts.
• Provide companionship and monitor safety for older adults.
• Drive time between clients is paid.
• Coordinate with families and supervisors to match requested limits and schedules.
