Job summary

Haven Home Care is hiring caregivers across Summit County to help older adults live independently. You’ll assist with daily activities, such as baths, dressing, meals, light cleaning, and errands, while supporting client comfort and safety.

The role is physically engaging, requiring you to be on your feet and travel between client homes. Compensation varies by license and experience, with higher rates for STNA and private-pay referrals, plus holiday pay and a W-2 arrangement.

Qualifications

• Driver's license
• Your own car with insurance that covers work driving
• Pass background checks
• Work at least 20 hours/week
• Available between 6AM-8PM (most work is 8AM-5PM)
• Legal right to work in the US
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• You drive to a client's home and help with daily living activities (baths, dressing, meals, light cleaning, errands)
• Keep clients company and support independence
• You are on your feet and perform physical tasks; communicate needs
• You do not give medicines or handle medical tasks (nurses handle medical tasks)
• You set and respect client-reported limits for travel and availability
• You ensure reliability and attendance to support client care
