Job summary

Omatochi is seeking a Caregiver I to provide direct care services in clients' homes and community settings in California. You will support daily living activities while adhering to care plans, safety protocols, and company standards.

The role is field-based with variable schedules (days, evenings, weekends) and includes benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, and holidays. Overtime eligible under California law.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving or related experience.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable transportation within service area.
• Ability to pass background check and required screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support services as outlined in client care plans.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients.
• Arrive on time for all scheduled visits.
• Communicate schedule changes or emergencies promptly.
• Complete assigned visits as scheduled.
• Accurately document services using approved systems.
• Report incidents or changes in client condition immediately.
• Follow documentation and reporting standards at all times.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Communicate respectfully with clients, families, and team members.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
