Job summary

JEVS Care at Home is seeking caregivers to join our home care team in the Souderton area. This role focuses on a 42‑hour per week case, with 6 hours per day across 7 days. You will help clients with daily living activities per their care plans and receive comprehensive training and ongoing development.

The position offers annual training, ADEQUATE PPE, and ongoing support from a Client Care Manager. Candidates must meet basic qualifications and complete orientation to start.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager.
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation.
• Must satisfactorily complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program 80% passing score on post-orientation exam.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• The Caregiver will assist the client with activities of daily living as indicated by the care plan.
• Caregivers are provided training and tools to be successful, including ADL and access to PPE.
• CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Training are provided as Professional Development.
• Maintain independence and encourage the client to live independently.
• Complete instrumental activities of daily living per the client’s Plan of Care.
