Job summary

FirstLight Home Care of West St. Paul is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non‑medical companion care in clients’ homes. Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation while following care plans and protecting client confidentiality.

You will document services, work with a care team, and stay current with policies and technology to deliver high‑quality in‑home care that supports independence and comfort.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
• Ability to follow service plans and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful companionship and light housekeeping as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and transportation per care plan.
• Follow care plans and document services provided and client needs.
• Adhere to HIPAA and company policies; maintain confidentiality.
• Engage with clients to promote independence and comfort at home.
