Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate caregivers/PCA for in-home, non-medical support. You will provide one-on-one care, companionship, and help with daily activities in clients’ homes, promoting dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, or Direct Care Worker is a plus.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation and, if transporting clients, a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene.
• Support meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and safe home environment.
• Offer companionship and encouragement to maintain independence and social engagement.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home.
• Provide medication reminders according to care plans and assist with transportation to appointments.
