Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing, assisted living, senior living, or customer service environment preferred.
• Experience providing companionship or support services to older adults is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with residents through companionship and conversation.
• Assist residents with daily routines and non-medical support services.
• Plan and participate in recreational, social, educational, and enrichment activities.
• Accompany residents to appointments, errands, outings, and community events as needed.
• Help coordinate resources and solutions for day-to-day resident concerns.
• Provide light housekeeping and environmental support to maintain a safe, comfortable living space.
• Assist with meal preparation, food service, and other hospitality-related duties.
• Observe and report concerns or changes in resident well-being to the appropriate supervisor.
