Visiting Angels Sumter, SC is hiring a Full Time Certified Nurse Aide to support seniors in Sumter and surrounding areas. The role includes helping with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal planning, and encouraging activity to promote independence.

The CNA will also assist with medication reminders, transportation, and safety-focused caregiving while maintaining compassion, professionalism, and strong communication with clients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Willingness to pass background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Encourage clients to meet fitness goals and stay active.
• Prompt clients to take medications on schedule.
• Shopping assistance and running errands for clients.
• Plan meals with clients based on dietary needs.
• Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments.
