Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Locust Grove, GA is hiring Personal Care Aides/Caregivers in Griffin, GA to help seniors stay safe at home. As a PCA you’ll assist with bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping and companionship, with 1:1 client care and flexible scheduling.

Requirements include high school diploma (or equivalent), active GA HCA registration, CPR/First Aid, TB screening, a valid GA driver's license, and at least 1 year in a healthcare setting preferred. A $200 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; GA HCA registration, Interim can assist with certification.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB screening required.
• Valid GA driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, light housekeeping, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and ROM exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and notify supervisor of concerns.
