Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Walker County, GA is seeking a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to provide in-home support to seniors, with a $15.00/hour rate and a 1:1 aide-to-client ratio. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, GA PCA certificate (Interim can assist), CPR/First Aid, TB screen, valid GA driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• GA Personal Care Assistant Certificate; Interim can assist with certification.
• One year healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and TB screening within 12 months.
• Valid GA driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and communicate well with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors in their homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation, companionship).
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition for supervisors.
• Maintain a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities that bring joy (games, reading, hobbies).
