Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of Louisville is seeking a part-time caregiver to provide compassionate, client-centered personal care on-site in the Okolona area. You will support independence and quality of life for clients, while coordinating with a dedicated team to deliver tailored care plans in the Louisville area.

The role requires English fluency, experience with Hoyer lifts or CNA/PCA training, and reliable transportation within Louisville.

Qualifications

Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Hoyer lift experience is a plus in adult caregiving.
Strong English communication skills required.
CNA or PCA training is preferred.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Louisville.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming (Hoyer Lift).
Provide companionship and engage clients in activities to stimulate cognitive function.
Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation, personal hygiene, safe transfers, and a safe environment.
Assist with medication reminders and errands as needed.
Collaborate with office staff and family to adapt and implement person-centered care plans.
