Job summary

Qualicare Homecare is seeking compassionate Certified Care Aides/Caregivers to join our team in the South Bay area. The role involves assisting with personal care, meal prep, light lifts, and mobility support for seniors, with daytime shifts available.

Ideal candidates have a HCA certificate, CNA preferred, and CPR/First Aid. Travel within the territory and reliable transport are required; strong empathy and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Care Aide Certificate (HCA Registration) is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant is strongly preferred.
• CPR/First Aid training current or willingness to obtain.
• 2+ years in home care or facility setting is preferred.
• Ability to travel around the location territory with reliable transportation.
• Fingerprint/Live Scan Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene.
• Meal Preparation.
• Light lifting as needed.
• Light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients on outings.
• Shopping and errands.
• Medication administration/reminders.
• Ambulation and transporting of clients.
• Provide companionship to clients.
• Follow care plans and document care.
• Documentation/Charting.
