Job summary

Qualicare Homecare in California is seeking compassionate Certified Care Aides/Caregivers to join our home care team. The Certified Caregiver works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and provides personal care services to meet each client’s needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, outings, errands, medication reminders, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Certified Care Aide Certificate or equivalent is required.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray required.
• Ability to travel around location territory.
• Access to internet/mobile phone required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Meal preparation and planning.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Accompany clients on outings and appointments.
• Run errands and shop for clients.
• Medication reminders/assistance as directed.
• Assist with mobility and transporting clients.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and instructions from supervisors.
• Document and chart client observations and care provided.
