Job summary

Above All Home Care LLC in Texas is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to work directly with patients in their homes, following a one-on-one care plan and delivering personalized support with a warm, respectful approach.

You will assist with daily activities, maintain clean living spaces, document patient care and progress, and engage clients with conversation or activities to keep them mentally engaged. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year prior experience.
• Valid State ID Required.
• Background Check Required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
